1) Remove debris + protect finishes

Collect and bag debris: plastic, cardboard, tape, screws/nails (use a magnet sweeper if needed).Remove stickers/labels carefully (test spot).Cover or protect sensitive surfaces after you clean them (new floors/counters).

2) Dry dust removal (always do “dry” first)

Work top to bottom, back to front

Ceilings/corners: remove cobwebs, dust vents and returns (HEPA vacuum + microfiber).

Walls/ledges: dust trim, baseboards, door frames, window sills, rails.

Cabinet exteriors + shelves: HEPA vac, then wipe.

Light fixtures/fans: dust and wipe
